Beware the B&Q 10mm difference! and £43 Vs £25.99

It seems B&Q don't know how to measure a modern euro cylinder and they are still using measurements that will just confuse the general public and result in oversized 'exposed' euro lock being re-fitted by the DIY consumer.

A very long time ago we used to measure euro cylinders either side of the 'cam' which gave 3 measurements IE 35/10/35 as we no longer use the cam as a measurement. We 'the lock industry, manufacturers, master locksmiths and everyone making or fitting euro locks in the world,,,now only measure to the centre of the fixing hole screw which gives 2 lengths.

We must advise that the locks being sold in B&Q as 'MAXIMUM SECURITY' have lost their 'Sold Secure' rating and are only 1 star rated locks with no key security (easily compromised by using an easily available tool) The new Yale Superior range use a coded key system and can only be keyed alike by BSi approved Yale support centres and have much more resistance to attack - we can offer custom built TS007 anti snap euro locks for 30% less than the range sold in B&Q and we have all sizes in stock for next working day delivery.
